Application Instruction
Construction Conditions
The ideal temperature for painting with interior latex eggshell paint is between 50-85°F (10-29°C).
The humidity in the room should be between 40-70% to ensure that the paint dries correctly.
It is important to avoid painting in extreme heat or cold, as this can impact both the application and the quality of the finished product.
Application Step
Surface preparation :
Before you start painting, it's important to prepare the surface properly. Remove any loose paint, dust, or debris using a scraper, sandpaper, and/or a vacuum cleaner. Next, fill any cracks, holes, or gaps with spackle or putty, and then sand the surface smooth. Finally, wipe down the surface with a clean, damp cloth to remove any remaining dust or dirt.
Primer :
Apply a coat of primer to the surface. This helps the paint adhere better to the surface and allows for more even coverage. Choose a primer that is specifically formulated for use with latex eggshell paint. Use a brush or roller to apply the primer in long, even strokes, working in sections. Make sure to overlap each stroke slightly to avoid leaving lines or streaks. Allow the primer to dry completely before proceeding.
Interior latex eggshell top coating:
Once the primer is dry, it's time to apply the eggshell paint. Use the same brush or roller you used for the primer, cleaning it thoroughly beforehand.
